Social Drawing App for GenZ
A drawing-diary social app designed to help users share honest daily stories through lightweight drawing tools and creator community.
Market Context
Mainstream social platforms increasingly optimized for endless consumption and provocative content loops. We believed there was room for a social space where users could create, reflect, and connect through everyday storytelling - not just scrolling. We saw an opportunity to redesign social interaction around expression and belonging, not engagement metrics.
Solution
Creation-first : We built an in-app drawing tool to remove barriers to creation and make “daily posting” feel easy and fun.
Community & belonging (“Villages”) : Instead of one noisy feed, users could settle into smaller communities that supported safer interactions.
World-building & economy : We designed a consistent in-app world (places + currency) to support identity, progression, and long-term creator engagement.
Achievements
200K+ total downloads (google playstore & appstore)
40K peak MAU / 2K peak DAU
Global reach with strongest traction in South Korea and several overseas markets (e.g., India, Philippines, US)
Selected for 8 startup support programs including Google Play backed initiatives
My Role

Designer : Owned end-to-end UX across core flows, community systems, and in-app economy, including marketing assets.
(early) Android Developer : Built core screens and social feed functionality during the initial MVP phase (Java).
